Lying is justifiable if it's for the greater good.(3)
Lying is never a good thing to do. You could get in a lot of trouble even for a little bit of lying. Also people lye just to save there skins or to protect a friend or even a relative. Sometimes a lie is okay from now and then but it should never become a habit. Honesty Is The Best Policy.

Sometimes violence is the only way to solve a problem.(4)
Yes and no i think sometimes violence is the way to solve a problem. Yes, when cops are on duty they sometimes use violence to sole the problem if necessary because Justice Needs To Be Served. No, because violence is never the answer if they didn't do everything wrong.

It is okay to kill someone in self-defense.(3)
I think no it is not okay to kill someone for self-defense because if they are doing something like shooting a gun at you then your in stinks are to run away, unless your a cop then you are required to shot back.

Words are stronger than fists.(5)
I say words are stronger then fists because words hurt you emotionally and fists hurt you fiscally.

Bullies hurt others because they have low self esteem.(4)
I think bullies hurt others because maybe they have been getting bullied  them selves or in trouble a lot and take it out on others and yes i agree they probable have a low self esteem.

Only the best and brightest students should receive the best education to become a nation's leaders.(4)
I agree that only the best and brightest students should receive the best education to become a nation's leaders, because they will end up making changes in our country

Revenge is never justified.(3)
I think revenge is justified but it also depends on how hard the revenge is.

Crying is evidence of weakness.(3)
Sometimes crying is evidence of weakness but it could just be emotionally and not fiscally.

Any action is acceptable in war.(4)
Yes any action is acceptable in war because in war it is okay to kill someone in self-defenseless.

Teenagers need dicipline and rules because they can't control themselves.(2)
I disagree because I know a lot of people that don't need discipline but yes they do need rules and sometimes they could control themselves.

Only through personal sacrifice can someone create positive change.(4)
Yes because sometimes you could sacrifice a bed habit and it could be a great relief.

Generating compassion for your enemies is the only way to create peace.(3)
Well I don't see why not unless you would want war instead of peace war, is bad because it is a fifty to fifty chance you will when or lose and peace is good.

         <(Custody)>        By:Gino Silva
                                                                   12/12/12

We waited a long time me ,gialluca, our grandma also our mom until we got called into Court and it was a small room, me and Gialluca meat a person then we sat where the Jury box was on the side. The person told us she worked for C.P.S. which stands for Child, Protective,  Services. She was a lawyer for only kids. When she was talking to me and  Gialluca I noticed that the Judge was talking to my mom. I didn't really understand what was going on. Then there was other people there that  worked for C.P.S. and they were representatives they were also reporting about our house and living conditions. Me and Gialluca were thirteen though. All I know is that my mom was trying to get custody of us. Then all of a sudden the judge said that our grandma would get custody of us for the next six months. When six months had gone by, we were told by our grandma that she would have us from now on. Ever since my other grandma Rita died it started to go all downhill from there. My mom wasn't able to pay the rent anymore. So she would have people come over and stay as long as they wanted only if they paid though. Eventually she lost the house which was very very sad for me and Gialluca.  It pretty much broke our hearts, knowing where our mom would stay. Although  she would stay at anyone's house she could only if they were her friends. She was still in good condition so she is healthy but not on drugs.
Later on after Court me and Gialluca talked to our grandma about seeing our mom. We got to see her everyday after school for an hour or more the trouble was the time kept changing. I didn't like it when it changed. It changed so many times that I can't remember what it changed to the first time. Then it got changed again to only Sundays at three o'clock for only one hour and a lot of times she would be late. I was always excited to see our mom, when she was late I was happy I still at least got to see her.It was sad when she could not get a ride. Me,Gialluca, our grandma and mom talked about the time and then we changed it again to Sunday at two o’clock for an hour or so. The last time me and Gialluca talked to our mom is when she said that she was going to Rehab for a month but she still can come and see us on Sundays.
   THE END
